At BridgewaterFixings.co.uk, we manufacture made-to-order products to your exact specifications. Our aim is to deliver high-quality workmanship with a fast turnaround. Because of the bespoke nature of our products, returns are limited and subject to the terms outlined below.
Eligibility & Return Window
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
- This policy applies only to business customers purchasing on behalf of a company, trade, or profession.
- Returns requested after this period may not be accepted.
Return Process
- Email sales@bridgewaterfixings.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number, a brief description of the issue or reason for return, and any relevant photos if the item is damaged or defective.
- If approved, you will receive a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). Do not return goods without this reference.
- Clearly mark the RAN on your return package and ship the item back to the address provided.
Restocking Fee
- As all products are custom made, a 60% restocking fee applies to any authorised returns unless the item is defective or sent in error.
- This fee covers material, labour, and admin costs incurred during production.
- We reserve the right to increase the fee or reject the return entirely if returned items are damaged, used, or unsellable.
Damaged or Defective Goods
- If your item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence emailed to sales@bridgewaterfixings.co.uk.
- We will assess the issue and, if confirmed, offer a replacement or refund, at our discretion.
Order Accuracy
- All orders are fulfilled exactly as submitted at the time of purchase.
- Post-order changes to sizes, finishes, or specifications cannot be accommodated once production begins.
Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must be:
- In unused condition
- In their original packaging
- Complete with any components, fixings, or protective covers
Returns that fail to meet these standards may be rejected or incur a higher restocking charge.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
- Bridgewater Fixings is not liable for any loss or damage in transit during return — please use a tracked and insured service.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, any approved refund will be processed within 30 days.
- All refunds are issued via the original payment method, less the applicable restocking fee and any shipping charges.
Delivery Responsibility
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
- Ownership and responsibility for goods transfer upon delivery to the specified address.
- We are not liable for any damage, loss, or theft after delivery has been made.
International Orders
We do not accept international orders or returns at this time.
Warranty
Our products are manufactured to a high standard, but no formal warranty is offered. If you have concerns about the quality of your product, please get in touch and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
